Fish As Gone Really Skinny

just checked in on my fish and in the last 2 days my male platy has gone so skinny he is like a piece of paper, i feed them every other day so i know hes not starved
!
i checked my water everything is perfect. I have moved him into the hatchery and gave him a little food which he did eat but hes resting on the bottom of the hatchery at the minute, any ideas whats wrong with him? ive had my over 6 months. none of my other fish have anything wrong with them.
old age maybe?

fish are just like all animals and people, some die younger than others, sounds like his time has come

aww ok, i will let him pass in the hatchery in peace from the other fish
