It is 3:30 in the morning, and I have to go to school in a couple hours, so I can't do a testing right now, sorry. I might when I get up if I have the chance, if not I will do one first thing this afternoon.
Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior): All the fish are very pale. I think I have a small outbreak of ich/whitespot, which I have been treating for two days now. One platy has had clamped fins and has been hiding for for a few days, so I put him in a breeding net for better observation. He was sitting at the top of that water not moving. The other 3 platies were all hiding in various places in the tank just now, all treading water and barley moving. One was resting on a rock in the corner. The danios were all very very pale and not moving much. One I even watched sit still at the bottom of the tank just above the gravel, which is very very odd for a danio! All the fish were of fine color when I went to bed at 10:00, and all were acting fine aside from the platy with clamped fins, which had been going on for about four or fine days.
Volume and Frequency of water changes: 2 gallons every week. I did a 2 gallon water change three days ago.
Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: I used a liquid Ich treatment today around 8:00, and yesterday at 2:00, during which I turned the filter off because of the carbon. The filter was off for about 2 hours each time.
Tank inhabitants: 3 leopard danios, 3 zebra danios, and 4 platies.
Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration): tonight at about 7 PM I added the breeding net and moved the platy with clamped fins into it. The platies were added roughly a month ago.
Exposure to chemicals: Water decholorinator and the ich treatment
Digital photo (include if possible): I will get one in the morning if they are still acting weird.
Could they be sleeping/resting? I have never observed my tank at 3:30 in the morning, to be honest.
Also, if it matters, one of the bulbs in the tank went out a couple days ago, and I have yet to replace it, if that matters.
