It's kind of annoying. My fish are chasing their own reflections. I would like to stop it. But one of my two Emerald Cories are at it. I would buy one more, but they cost about $5 each. So, I'll do it the next time I fill up my tank. But, is there any way to stop it?

A background or way to prevent a reflection from showing up. They will probably stop on their own eventually.

yea,if you get a background,it wont usually reflect, mine doesnt. My fish used to do that too, then i got a background and they stopped. :D

are you sure they're chasing their reflections? I think the reflection that we see is just an optical illusion, i don't think they see it. Also, it's not uncommon for cories to swim up and down the tank walls. Especially when they are happy, they will dance. This can also be part of their mating behavior. If you go over to the corydoras forum there's quite a few threads about dancing cories.

Well, I thought that my Cory was trying to school with his reflection.

He's not even reacting with the other Cory. One just feeds the whole day. The other just runs up and down the tank. :(

my fish do that to but they do it with the front of the glass it has a background on it but the try to swim with the wierd fish thats on it
