Claudius, White (ish) VT, acts the big boy but you should see how terrified he is in a full face on encounter (idiot ended up in Tiberias tank, juped out of the jar when I was cleaning his tank )

Kaap, Blue HM with red anal fin. From KG bettas

Kieow, Wild Dragon CT Cross (and future daddy, hopefully anyway. He's a complete wimp I put him in with Tiberia (don't try this at home, kiddywinkles ) I wanted to see how he reacted with a face to face encounter with the opposite sex. Turns out he's terrified ) Another KG.

Proi, Fancy SD, I'm after a fairly matching female, any help guys and gals? The other KG.

Tiberia, Blueish VT? (female). Mini Jaws, loves the guys but flares at herself in the mirror Gets breeding stipripes in the blink of an eye

Those Khulis look really orange! Is that just the exposure of the camera or because they are on black sand? Either way they look really nice! Contemplated Khuli Loaches but never got round to them for some reason...

Yep, black sand Its a sort of cavey tank, loads of volcanic rock, looks good and gives them (and Kieow) loads of nooks and crannies to hide/play in. Get some, they're quite shy but great to watch

I know, odd pattern I'm pretty sure they're all like that, to different degrees, but I like 'em Thats the only clear picture I got of them though, they don't sit still

Thanks for all the comments, if she doesn't mind I'll post up the pictures of two of the bettas I'm getting from clover I'm getting another one, but that will be whatever she picks out The girly (the one on the left) is the one who's lined up to be Kieow's GF . She carries the Dragon gene so I'm hoping for some Dragons and some PK's too

The bettas are adorable I love the khuli loach I have four of them. I cant never get mine to come out any. What am I doing wrong I see every one can get pictures of thiers and I have to move things around just to make sure mine is alive.

The bettas are adorable I love the khuli loach I have four of them. I cant never get mine to come out any. What am I doing wrong I see every one can get pictures of thiers and I have to move things around just to make sure mine is alive. 

LOL, I did that for the first week or so, but I'd probably notice the changing behaviour if ammonia spiked (from bodies). They're from a good shop too I really can't get pictures of them, this is the only good one, and I think it was an accident

Yeah, but I think everyone groans when they see a thread mentioning bettas, so I thought I'd see how many people came in thinking 'oh heck, the idiots not gone and got a rtc, has she?'.

EDIT- Oh yeah, forgot to mention, I'm hopefully getting a free hex tank soon, no idea on size or anything, so I'm going to debate whether to go upgrading one of the bettas I've got, more bettas/female community or a species tank for mebbe some endlers, or a similar small pretty feesh.

I divided the 20, now on one side Kieow and the two tetras, on the other side Kaap, and somewhere two khulis (not sure which side, I put them with Kaap but they've found a small gap to wriggle through. The bettas can't get through though)

Some more recent pics.

The 20g as it is now, with 8 danios, 2 cories, 4 indian thorn eyes (I think), 1 black khuli. It needs some attention, I moved the wood round when I was looking for the black khuli last week and couldn't get it back into place. Ah well. Thats why the fake vallis is very, well, fake looking ATM too.

The 15g, you can't see the khulis or the other two swordtails, theres lots of reflections that don't belong there

The current betta tank arrangement on my bookshelf, the two in the 1/2g containers are temporary, hoping to upgrade today (if I can get the tupperware I'm after). Occupants- Top left- Kaap, top centre- Pao, Top right- Tiberia, Bottom left- Kieow, bottom centre- Saang, Bottom right- Claudius.

A few of the bettas, first pic is Pao, you can see he's getting that lovelly red on him, I might breed him with Saang instead of breeding her with Kieow, he's got much more defined tail colour rather than the splodge Kieow has. I'm going to end up with the same spawn result whoever I use, the only difference is with Kieow I get a bit of CT geno, but not much. Second pic is Claudius, you can see where he had a bit of finrot He seems to keep getting them, when I first got him he got septaecemia

Finally, the swordtails.
