After I do a water change in my nano tank of 30L some of my fish go crazy, i usually only change about 5-10L. i have a black and a striped khuli loach in there, a killifish, cherry shrimp and some dwarf chilli rasbora's. the black loach and the killi fish go completely crazy swimming around in circles and it worries me, the rest seem to not give a crap about it and go about their business. can anyone tell me why and if its a bad thing? water temp doesnt usually fluctuate and the same with ph.

are you temperature matching the new water to the tank water? A few degrees wont matter but if there is a significant difference it may be shocking the fish.

Sounds like it may be a temperature issue either that or are you using untreated tap water? how do you test the temp before pouring the new water into the tank? I usually dip my finger in the new water first and then the tank to gauge the difference.

sounds like quite normal behaviour to me, a water change is a big disruption in any tank, mine always react to it for a short time.
