First Time Adding Salt

Tank is 180 Litres (40 Gallons) and is going to house 3 - 4 Figure Eight Puffers. Assuming I get them from a store which keeps them in Brackish conditions, roughly how many table spoons of salt would I need to add to bring it to around 1.005 - 1.009?

And if they're kept in freshwater how many tablespoons of salt should I initially add to get them used to it?

If they are in freshwater add 4 tablespoons a day until th SG reaches the desired level.
