First Test Results

i am doing a fin in cycle which has been going about a week and my test kt arrived today and the results are as follows:

ammonia: between 0 and 0.25ppm
nitrIte: 0.5ppm
nitrAte: 10ppm
pH: 7.2

is this good? do i need to do anything?

you have ammonia and nitrIte readings, perform a water-change immediately and re-test if ammonia and nitrite are still present perform another water change

done a 30% change and re tested:

ammonia:0
nitrIte:0
nitrAte:10

thats good, if you ever get a reading that says there is ammonia or nitrIte do a water change, and re-test.

*EDIT* your nitrates are safe from 0 -20 go over 20 and do a water change, this will also help keep algae away
