This is my first attempt at "aqua-scaping" my very first tank, which currently holds 4 platies and 1 cory panda catfish.

Let me know what you think!

Sand or a nice tan/brown gravel would look a little more natural, and you might want to place the taller plants towards the back with the shorter ones in front. All in all I think it looks nice. :good:

Thanks - yes I've unfortunately learnt the hard way about gravel - was too hasty buying it at first, and now would much prefer a more natural gravel. Shall research on changing it! Thanks for the compliment :good:

I like it, might wanna take the 'warning' sticker off the tank though :p
What is that plant in the right foreground? looks like bamboo?

yeah, take off the sticker, but otherwise nice

Sticker removed! Looks a lot better...going to be changing to sand tonight hopefully!

looking very nice :good:

the panda cory needs to be in a group though ;)

Lovely tank! :good: Yeah change that gravel and the tank would look stunning!

Am going to change tomorrow, wish me luck! I think a nice natural sand/tan gravel, depends on what the LFS has to offer at the time!

Thanks! Yeah, I only found this out after the LFS convinced me to buy one, naturally. I shall, once I'm satisfied tank is stable for current bio-load, add another cory or two to ensure its happiness!
