I got some cabomba plants today :) as the other were not in the shop yet, I have just planted the roots in gravel, wahing before planting. In the shop they said you don't have to do anything to the plant but have the lights on a hour more than you do for the first 4 weeks to let the plant root? so asking is this the right information! also my betta is trying to eat it, will this do any harm? he also sits in-between the plant or swims in and out of the cabomba lol I think he most like he new plant :)

Sounds like he's loving his new plant :) he will peck at it for a while but should leave it in a few days :good:

Looking that way :good: can I ask if the shop is right about doing nothing with the plant but just keep the lights on longer. Will have to take some decent photo's soon :)

Cabomba is a great starter plant as it requires little attention, how long do you normally have you light on for?
