First Plants And Got A Few Questions?

I just went and got some driftwood and a few plants I bought a java fern (I attached it to the driftwood) a medium sized sword plant and a bag of little chain swords (don't know if these will survive) and got a bonus of a few strands of java moss that were in the bag of chain swords so they are on the piece of slate waiting to grow

Now my tank is about a 35gallon and I just have normal small black gravel and a weak as light would be about 1WPG now with the plants I also bought some "plant food" now will this be enough to keep those plants alive? It says 5ml per 20litres of tank and dose it every 20 to 30 days so is this gonna be enough to keep the chain swords alive or do I need a better light and Co2??

Now my other questions as I only bought 1 sword plant and 1 java fern is there anyway that when I trim them I can replant them somewhere else in my tank to get some more growing so it fills in my tank?? How do I go about trimming them aswell do I just break the stems off at the base??

So yeah just wondering those things and will post some pics in another thread once the water settles abit

Your best to dose ferts daily ie 1-2 ML per day because putting large doses in once every week may cause a algae bloom

Wish I knew that before I dumped the whole lot in there, should I just leave it and wait until 30days or whatever then start on the 1-2ml a day or do a few water changes give it a week or 2 and then start up??

I just added 2 little 11watt lamps that I had for smaller tanks onto the back with the main 30watt light up front so now i've got over 1WPG just so will this be good enough for the chain swords??
