First Planted Tank

Hi,

This is my 1st attempt at a planted tank, only got into the hobby about 6 months ago, set up a small 70l tank with plastic plants but so wanted to upgrade to a larger tank, I spotted a 4ft tank on ebay for a bargain price which I purchased,I built a stand and hood for it

I have cat litter as substrate, and light is 2 x 30w T8 and just a few days ago I planted 25 stem plants which I also got from ebay, not sure what to do from here regarding ferts, liquid or root tabs? Any advice appreciated

I wish I could view the pics on a bigger screen and I may be able to help, what volume is your new tank? I cantvtell from pics of any are non aquatic as I'm viewing on iPhone. eBay stores have a habit of sending some non aquatics to bulk up the ammount.
