First Planted Tank

does anyone have a recommendation for a carpeting plant that could survive at 1.5 WPG? i have the dwarf sag and its not doing too well right now...the only thing i could think that it would be would be the light...a lot of the leaves have turned yellow and are becoming semi transparent...any help is appreciated

eleocharis acicularis or parvula. Yellow leaves = nitrogen defficiency
Are you dosing any fertilisers?

i am using FloraPride by tetratec...its the best stuff i could find at my LFS...do i need to do more?

also thanks for the ideas...ill check em out

That doesnt contain Nitrate or Phosphate so a better fert would definatley help such as tropica plant nutrition+ or seachem flourish - or any other fert that contains N&P.

It could also be the emmersed growth dieing back so dont throw them awya just yet, cut off the dead/ dieing leaves and they will come back in a few eeks time.

i just ordered some seachem's flourish...ive been removing the dead leaves...ill keep doing it if they keep dying...

an aside..i set up my CO2 system a couple days ago...i am using a gallon jug and the yeast sugar and water recipe...all is going well with that so far...

Thanks for the help!

I just got my "seachem" Flourish today in the mail (i thought it was seachMAN lol) and have already dosed...the recommendation is 5ml per 60 gallons so i added approx 1 ml (mat have been a tad more) so i hope to see some improvements in the dwarf sag soon
