First Night here !

Hello!
My name is KeriAnn and my first fish tank as an adult was purchased in March of this year.
I started with six Play's and six neon's.
The pet store said they were both beginner and community fish.
I also bought two starter plants I forget the names of.
I have ordered four more plants online that will be shipped out on Sunday.
One of my Play's a dark red one with black fins has given birth twice and I have four fry so far.
She is pregnant again however I am worried because this time she seems to be holding out on delivering the fry and am worried she is stressed.
Came here to learn everything I can and make some friends with fellow fish lovers.

If you post a pic of the plants we should be able to id them for you.

The best plant for keeping livebearers like platies, is Water Sprite (Ceratopteris thalictroides). It provides lots of hiding places for the pregnant females and babies and can be grown in the substrate or floating on the surface. It's best on the surface for the babies.

The platy might not be ready to give birth yet. I takes about 1 month for the gestation period and if she has lots of babies in her, she will look huge but not give birth until they are ready to be born

Much appreciated.
She seems to have been pregnant for at least a month and has already given birth twice.
First to one fry that survived and then to three.
I will look into ordering the Water Sprite online as I don't have transportation anymore to an aquarium store that sells plants.
I ordered for beginner plants online plus the two I already have but those are ones that do well in shade and begin with an a. A short breed and tall breed of the same type that is all I recall.
I was in a hurry because I thought she might go into labour anytime.
