Hi all i just picked up a very small glass tank ('Goldy's Home' (far too small for a gold fish I think).

36cmx22cmx26.5cm.

Comes with an extremely small power filter.

I would like to fully plant it with 'mini plants'

I havent decided yet whether it will be heated or non heated....

If I were to heat it, what size heater should I use (Is there a really really tiny unobtrusive heater?)

I have left over laterite from my main tank setup, and I have some very small, reasonably dark pea gravel.

Also lighting..... how would you light it? an arcadia arcpod? and would it be worth using CO2, or could a planted tank like that be ok without it?

Finally, the tank will have a practical use, as a daphnia holding pen, for (hopefully) permanent supply of live food for my fish.

Any advice GREATLY appreciated. Thanks all!

I can't help with all of your points, but I hope that this is of use:
The smallest heater that I've seen is an Eheim 50W. I use one and they're good for nanos.
I use CO2 in my tank, it is good for ANY tank with plants.

Cheers :> I shall take a peek at that heater now :>

Cool, I'll order up another CO2 kit! Thanks!
