 I was doing the tank maintenance tonight and decided i would put the rekord lid back on the original tank and put the ugly hood back on the 22g untill i can get a new one. So i took the hood off and took it upstairs and put it on the tank. I came running back downstairs and into the lounge. As soon as i approached the tank i heard 3 splooshes, I looked in and saw only 3 lemon tetras! I was going crazy i looked on the floor and found one right away and put him back in the tank. it took me about 1minute to find the second one i put him back in and he seemed ok. I was searching another couple of minutes and was getting really worried. I found him but he didnt flop around when i picked him up to put him in the tank, so almost knew he was dead. I put him in the tank but no movements, gave him a few minutes putting him near the mouth of the filter so he would get extra oxygen but no movement. My first major cock-up and i payed for it :(
Now i dont know what to do. My rekord 60 plans are in sig, But now i only have 5 lemons, I can go and pick them up a mate tomorrow but the tetras are on offer, buy 2 get 1 free. Is there room for 9 tetras or not? I dont mind just being the one but the would like to take the offer. I dont think i have room as my plans are alreayd pushing the limits of the tank but i was just wondering.
Edit: When i do my water changes i use nutrafin aqua plus, I read the instructions thoroughly and saw it says to remove chlorine in 7.5g of water you use 2 capfuls and then underneath that it says to remove chlorimime (sp?) in 7.5 g of water use 2 capfuls. Does this mean use 2 capfuls in total to remove both chlorine + chlorimie in 7.5g of water, or use 4 capfuls?
Ive never had problems before so i guess not... :dunno:

If you're putting the lemon tetras in your 15 gallon after it cycles I think 6 would be too many with the other fish you're putting in there.

IMO it would be fine as tetras shoal alot and don't take up much space

one more wouldn't make a big difference

i am curious as to what those leopards are? do you mena leopard danios?
