Hello, Sorry to ask such a basic question - i have the dunce hat ready
Ive just put some live plants in my new aquarium - 2 of them came with pots, others with a weight, should i remove the pots of the other 2? I wasnt too sure and left them on for now as the last live plants i had had nothing and simply rose to the surface once my algae eaters wrooted the gravel loose.

Thanks in advance

You should remove the pots from the plants, hopefully they will have a fairly good root system that should help hold them in the substrate. Do you have anything you could put around the base of the plants until they get established (small stones etc)?

I'll have to pickup some weights & re do them when i do a water change - my plec will rip them out if theyre not weighted lol. He's a bit boystrous. Would i need to remove the weights after a certain amount of time? Or will they be ok left on - dont want anything to stop them growing.
Thanks for the help :good:
