Firemouths

if u look at my sig at the bottom could i add some firemouths to this setup, are they carnivourous and will they eat fish like danios

A firemouth will definatly get too large to be kept with danios and as they are very territorial they will probably kill if not terrorize the danios to death, also im not sure which danios you plan to get but i dnt think zebra danios would be good with silver dollars.

Severums grow 8-12 inches and a pair defending their territory can get pretty aggressive - they should really have the entire tank. Cichlids are naturally not compatible and if they share a territory it's even worse.

Firemouths and Severums are both open spawners - they share the same territory and become competitors, which inevitably leads to war. A cave spawning cichlid might work since it uses a completelly different type of territory, but I'd leave it as it is and perhaps add a couple more silver dollars to make a little shoal for them.

I agree with freddyk, I wouldn't add firemouths to that tank. you also asked if fm's are carnivorus, no they are not true carnivores, they are omnivores, they will eat an assortment of vegtable matter and insects/worms.
