Firemouths and Rams

Can firemouth chiclids be in the same tank as Blue Rams? Or will they have them for dinner?

I've had my german blue rams in with my firemouth at one point, and they didn't even acknowledge each other. i had no problem at all.

i think however, that my firemouth happens to be a little timid and shy, so i'm not sure if other firemouths are more aggressive or not.
