Firemouth in with smaller botias?

I'm considering rehoming my one firemouth to my other tank.
However that tank has 6 Yo-Yo Loaches in it. I personally value my loaches about this firemouth so I don't want to do it if the firemouth will grow up to eat my loaches?

Any thoughts?

how big are your loaches? BTW firemouths grow to 15 cm

the yoyos have spines just behind their gills which they use for defense
should the firemouth grab one by the head he will be very sore.
