Fins Missing

found out what caused it and have removed the offending fish! (my friend had them) will there fins grow back? do i need to treat water with anything?

If they haven't been nipped to the base should be fine, just tip top water quality and they should regrow.

thanks. i know they have been nipped quite short. the fish seem ok though! can i add anything to water to help?
