just done a tour of my 2 local f.shops. First one is where I just dont buy any more they had 4 bettas 2 lovely red ones, one swiming about with platies, other in a trap. One all different colours, very quiet, looked very thin to me, and then the last one, just like my koi,but fins in shreds and the start of white spot. I asked if it had come in like that they didnt know! I had to leave him 
they wont give them to me I have asked before. Next shop bettas were fine been in there a couple of weeks now lovely blue boy in with the guppies, I said to girl have you just fed these she said no, then I spotted the blue boy eating the baby guppies! 
I said look at his fat stomach she just looked at me as if I was mad!
