Finrot!

Armando,my blue vt has finrot I have him in a 1gal bowl by himself.i put bettafix and he is geeting better
anything else i can do

ps.i have never lost a betta and i never will hopefully

I think, if my memory serves me right, that epsom salt should help too. I put in 1/8 of a teaspoon every 5 gallons. It certainly can't hurt.

I wish there was more I could do to help!

ya i think any type of aquarium salt will work fine, just look around the internet for other options

I take it that the bowl isn't filtered right?
How often are you doing water changes?
An unfiltered 1gal bowl, you should be doing very frequent water changes.
Bad water quality is more than likely what is causing the finrot.

Try to keep his water as good as possible. I'd do 50% water changes every other day. Or maybe 20% every day... maybe even a 100% 1 day a week.

Save up and invest in a small filtered tank for your lil guy. It'll make life for you and him a whole lot easier/better once it's cycled.

I really hope his fins get better!

He just needs super clean slightly salt water.....If you cant afford another tank just get a big plastic container and keep water in it all the while so you can do really quick water changes.

thank u all,
he's ok now.but yesterday as i was doing my weekly water change something went terribli wrong, and today this happened:
*fred(my crowntail,and my first betta ) was laying white on it's side dead
*moonlight(my fist and only halfmoon )was also laying on his side,white as a cloud dead
*armando(my 1# vt,named after my grandfather R.I.P.)was covered in the same white stuff as the others,was bareli ALIVE
my female bubbles is somehow a-ok I think it was sothing in the bottom of the tank as the female never rests.armando is great now(in regards to his phisical shape)but the two "survivors are deppressed.what can i do!!!

and by the way,virgnia (the state i live in)has been on a drought wach(no rain) for at least two months.but today it heavily rained twice!!!

ok well see if there was anything in the room that changed, maybe some1 else in your home sprayed something in the room? (that happened to one of my friends once,the spray airfreshner killed his betta)
Where the tanks of the dead fish reletivly cloese together?
