Hi all,

I have one angel in my tank that has 3 little whits blotches on its fins.

Its eating well & active etc, but id rather it never had it. I have that melafix or whatever its called stuff, but want to make sure its ok to put in the tank with the rest of the gang;

4 clown loaches
1 platies
7 neon tetras
2 other angel fish
2 plecs
3 ruby barbs

Main worry is that i read that clown loaches dont like medications.

Another question is that i have a browny substance on some of my fake plants and from what ive been reading it sounds like brown algea and is due to not enough light. I have the tank light on for 7 hours a day (was told between 6 & 8 was recommended).

Cheers

Treat with melafix and do a 25 percent water change daily for about a week, Melafix is a very mild natural treatment that wont hurt the loaches either. I have had very good luck while treating with melafix. So far I havent lost one fish that I have treated with the melafix that should account for something.....
