I've noticed a couple of my guppies have the beginning of what looks like finrot, I've added Interpret 8 - Anit Fungus and Finrot.
But i would like to know what i can use to clean the utensils that i use in the tank to clean? Would household bleach be ok to clean my things with to try and make sure there is not finrot bacteria on them or do i need to use antibacterial washing things or is there a special type of thing i need to use?
Any help would be very much appreciated!
Thanks, Phia.

How many gallons is the tank.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Do any fish look thin or bloated.
Check the anus of the fish to see if its enlarged or red and inflamed.
What does it look like when the fish goes to the toilet.

Finrot is mainly caused by bad water quality, also finrot can be a secondary infection meaning there something else going on.

Don't need to use bleach I just use boiling water to steralise equipment.

As what Wilder has said but try doing a partial water change and gravel clean each day for a week. See how they look after that. Make sure the filter is running properly and if it hasn't been cleaned in the last month then clean it.

If you use medications then remove any carbon before you treat.

Unless you want to use the nets, buckets, etc on another tank straight away, you can rinse it with hot water, then leave it to dry out overnight. That will kill most fish diseases. If you do want to use the equipment on another tank straight away then either washing with soapy water bleaching will be fine. You can use straight bleach and wipe over the equipment, leave for 10minutes, then rinse off well with fresh water. Or use a weaker solution (20% bleach) and leave the stuff to soak in it for an hour.

*NB* wear gloves and safety glasses when using bleach.
