Ok Yesterday was day 5 of treatments. The lfs ran out of maracyn two so I finished off with Maracyn one. (2days) A couple of my mollies still have slight signs of popeye. Should I continue treatment or should I go ahead and do a 25% or 50% water change and wait a couple days to see if it will go away. This popeye looked weird as it looked more like they had whitish bubbles over their eyes. This is the part that is still there but they are acting like normal Mollies now and seem happy. I even have a few babies left.
But the momma died.. :-(

keep on adding the maracyn. until all signs are gone. i have treated fish before with popeye and if the symptons are still present, i have found that they can come back. popeye, if left untreated could cause the fish to lose it's eye.

sorry about the momma!

i beleive that mollies can tolerate salt. if so, add one tablespoon per every five gallons of water. use the maracyn also.
