Well here it is. The tank has been happily running for a month now with no problems  and all tests have been good although the PH is slightly high-7.2. The homemade hood and stand are still holding together so all's well :flex: It's 80 UK gallons, has two fluval 304's filtering and a hydor 300w heater. I've managed to fit five 40 watt bulbs with reflectors under the hood so this should keep the plants happy for a while :/

At the moment there are five corydoras, a sailfin plec, two large clown loaches (I know, two isn't enough :p ) and four swordtail + lots of babies. More fish will be added in time but I've only recently moved the loaches in from another tank so want to take it slowly.

Are those bubbles air or Co2?

If they're air, shut them off. They reduce the amount of CO2 in the water for your plants and increase the PH of the tank. They do look great, though. Good job on the tank.

Hmmmmm, bubbles  They look really nice when they are going but looks like I need to cut back on how long they are on. The Plec seems to love them though as he is always hiding amongst them. When I sort out the CO2 I take it that pumping it up through like the current bubbles is OK? If I connect a valve into the current pipe then the dram of air prom the pump should pull the CO2 through, just need to keep the O2 as low as possible :/

I thought I'd sorted all the tricky bits :D
