hi i posted a topic a bit back about my female sunset platy, she gave birth but she had seven which were deformed, well yesterday i was cleaning my gravel and there amonst the poo and water were some fry i scooped the out and have three healthy fry and i know they are hers because they are exactly the same colour. this morning there was even one swimming around my converted bottle as a home for my fry, so i know there are more in there. when i took the mummy out of the breeding net i noticed she was still plump but didnt want to stress her anymore so she obviously had the rest in my tank. i am really happy now, was upset when she had her babies which died in the net, so she gave me some after all :D :D :D

congrats on finding healthy fry. Maybe she got too stressed so waited till she felt more secure or relaxed to have the rest when she got back in the main tank.

Crush up some flakes really finely and use those. Make sure they sink as usually the fry will not come to the top for food that floats.

tried some flake last night they seem to like it , one would go up and knock it down for the others to get it from the bottom. i am using the growth flake which is made for the smaller fish.
