Well I am now 99% sure that my Pelvicachromis Taeniatus "Bipindi" have bred. The female is firmly ensconced in her flower pot that she has been excavating for the last five days (sand mountains everywhere).

Its there first brood so am not expecting any miracles, however it does give me an excuse for another tank.

So the question is how big a tank will I need for the fry in order to grow them out suitable for selling? The parents are fantastic looking fish and I already know several of my lfs are interested in acquiring some.

I'd like to try and get more folks to keep this species as they tend to be prohibitively more expensive than normal kribs, but much better looking IMHO.

Will no doubt pic up some artemia eggs, and will start squirting the liquifry onto my moss balls tonight to get the infusoria going.

Very cool, sounds fun..
And for the fry, I'd think bigger than a 16G.
