You could always buy second hand, I currently have one for sale, in brown, with a Tetratec ex700 external filter and cabinet for £120. Other than that I've never seen it cheaper than £200 new.

check the classifieds there are always juwel tank up for grabs. otherwise if you really want new then i would try Nd aquatics for a custom built tank as it normally works out cheaper than buying a juwel, rena etc etc as you are paying for the name on these tanks.

i have a juwel rio 180 for sale, tank only in beech if your interested?

Derbyshire, the light unit doesn't work however, I don't know whats up with it, it may just need new tubes but you're welcome to take it if you wish to buy the tank.

i have an issue though im not going to be able to come and see it until after time out im going to skeggy for 4 days lol.

i go next week would you at all be able to hang on to it for me ? until then ?

the missus has already got tape measure out seeing where it will fit nicely into.

Yeah that'd be fine.

You'd get the tank, cabinet (both require light cleaning) and a Tetratec ex700 with brand new media, the pipework is all original, so as expected there's some algae in the pipes, easily cleaned with a pipe brush, but I don't have one so I can't do it, I did my best to rinse them out. There are a few light scratches on the front pane only noticeable when the tank is empty, when it's filled they're not visible. It's water tight, I filled it up only last week and left it a few days, and the filter is all water tight too, I can include the original filter if you require it (no pump or media), but it has been removed as it's a bit unsightly and the Tetratec provides more efficient filtration.

Juwel were doing an offer of a free stand recently. I got mine, a Rio 240, for £408 for a tank, stand, lights, heater and filter which i thought was a great deal

I got my rio 240 2nd hand off ebay for £150 with a fluval 305 external filter, heater, stand, lights and various crap that came with it, pretty spotless too. i thought that was a good deal ;)
