I've searched for otos everywhere, I've looked in every fish store within 30 miles of me. And this morning after getting my stitches out at the hospital I decided to stop at walmart, to buy some new food for my JD who's being grumpy lately. And there they were, otos tons of them. As much as I hate walmart, I had to get some, since I've been looking for weeks. But they also had poor botia loaches that were dyed. And were all crammed inside one little ornament, all you could see was about 5 bellies hanging out. I felt terrible for them. And as I was there waiting forever for someone to come over and net out my freakin otos there was a couple buying an oscar for a, (now sit down, and be ready to be mad) 10 gallon tank!!! I told them he will out grow that. And they said that they knew and they were going to buy another tank later. AAAHHH! I hate walmart. Stupid people. Sorry just wanted to get my rant out.

If you hate Walmart you shouldn't buy food there, Walmart makes money on it when you do. Infact, you should steal food from walmart. *Just jokeing* (with walmarts bussiness practices they would probably figure out how to make money off of that)

You're planning to quarantine the otos, right? The last time I bought something from the tanks at Walmart it was 5 little ADFs, two of which died within a week. I have never had an ADF die on me before, never. I don't know what Walmart does to their fish, but even if they look completely fine they seem to be prone to dying off for no apparent reason

Sometimes it just lures people in, that Walmart... what with their bargain prices and conveniences (what iron clad soul could resist a store where they can munchy wunch on greasy hot McDonalds fries and CocaCola while perusing the 15% clearance on auto accesories which just happens to be between the camping gear and dairy isles all the while basking in the glory of, no, frolicking and making snow angels in the fatty fats that is gluttunous consumerism at its very best). It's OK to dislike wal-mart, just next time maybe try going somewhere else for fish food, like an independently owned and operated aquarium store. They'll appreciate the business far more than Wal-Mart will.

JackDemp528, I hope the stitching wasn't anything serious. Sorry to hear about the oscar situation, you can't know everything about everything, right?. Nevertheless it's good that you got some otocinclus, they're exellent little algae eaters.

Someone has seen A Clockwork Orange a few too many times, I'm guessing?

They're in quarantine. And the stitches were from a dog bite. And the otos are still fine.
