Finally got some reasonable photos for ID.

Hope someone can tell me what he is. He is a real chocolate brown with dark horizontal sripes and a dark blue head.

Top pic looks like an aulonacara? Females have prominant lateral bars. Have you checked out the cichlidforum.com?

That fish is a Aulonocara the features are their you just have comepare gills, vertical bars, eye structure, mouth structure and so forth.

This is a gorgeus example of the same fish
