Finally got a new strain!

I already have many deep orange platies with black tails and also many yellow platies with slight orange tone and near transparent tails.

By putting all of them together, I was hoping to get a new strain that is yellow with black tails.

Guess what I got? A deep orange one with transparent tails... Not exactly the combo I wanted, but nonthless, it is the first mixed strain...

Well that's cool but technically it's not a strain ... Recessive traits may still exist ... Breed the two traits out wich shouldn't be too hard b/c I imagine the orange and black are both dominant So any with transparent tails may only carry that gene CONGRATS !

I s*cked in Biology when I had to study and I am even worse now, so you are not going to get any correct terminology out of me, especially now...
