Fin Rot

Heya


I was wondering how bad this fin rot is:

and treating it with aquarium salt is enough?

I thought a picture might help as i have not had fish/fin rot before and want to know as i will buy something extra (Kanaplex) if needed. I just can't judge it myself. There are a few pin holes, black around the edges and parts look like they will break off (very fragile) especially on his dorsal fin and beard.

Keeping his water fresh will be the best medicine. Keep the ammonia and nitrite close to 0 while your tank is still cycling. Your Betta's Immunesystem will do the rest!

His rot isnt near as bad as what my bettas was.

What I did was a water change and rock salt, and now its fully healed.
