Fin Rot!

ok so yesturday i went into my local fish store and i got 5 neon tetras ( will get more for the schoul )and last night i noticed that they had fin rot i did not see it in the shop cause their were oround 30-40 in the tank and they are like just a bit bigger then half an inch.... i did not even get to chose witch fish i wanted he just dumped in random ones into the bag

so my plan is to do a water change around 25% ..... then give a dose of INTERPET ANTI-INTERNAL BACTERIA with a bit of tonic salt and raise the temp by 2 degrees Celcius what you guys think??? and i might give the worst one a salt bath 2morow?

oh and my ph is 7.6 which is a bit hight for neons but i did buy some bogwood in my lfs lastnight to get it down a bit but i need to soke it into water for a nother few days so it does not make my water dirty....

Yeah kepp up with the water changes and dose with stuff specially for fin rot. I'd also complain to the shop. They should at least supply the stuff to treat the fin rot.

i really don't think that i am going to get some treatment from them not even going to complain ( did before but nothing changed it might just be because i'm 15? )...... most of the shops here in ireland don't look after their fish and really don't care about them i got my neons in the better shop of the 2 close to me but still i got yet another illness into my tank

i gave a worst neon a salt bath i think he has ich too!!! the other fish seem fine but on some a little bit of fin rot
