You see that orange one in the second picture? This is how it looks now:

Are you sure?? This looks pretty damn bad :(

It started swimming behind the filter, and was showing the signs of death to come. It's in the toilet now...

I seriously hope none of the others have it, especially the angels, that would be REALLY annoying.

That looks like fin rot. The first picture looked normal, but now it has had a chance to progress. I would use some sort of fin rot medication.

Right ok, I've just found that it wasn't fin rot.

I turned around to see the third victim getting absolutely owned by one of my angel fish. So I took him out (had no rear fin), dispached him and flushed him. I feel bad about it, I lost 3 fish. I've been keeping tropicals for only about 4 months now, and of the 35 fish I have bought in total, 7 have died, 3 of which were the guppies :(

The guppies which are still alive are going into a second tank now. I feel so bad about all these fish dying, that's 1/5 of my fish :( 1/7 not including the guppies. Arrrghh.

Thanks for sharing, now i know to stay clear of this combination. Was it just the angel fish attacking the guppies?

The male guppies were nipping each other, and the angel fish were absolutely savaging the guppies. The Kuhli loaches are so fast and evasive that they are pretty much immune to the angels. One of the angels started to approach the flower shrimp once, but rather than run it took a defensive stance, bowing low, the angel lost interest when that happened.

That's all the fish that were in there, because I'm still stocking it. I say were because I put the 3 survivor guppies in a 5 gal coldwater tank, it's at room temp and they seem fine. It's the only solution in which they had any chance of surviving, of course it's not ideal.
