Fin Rot?

I want to post this in the saltwater forum but it said error. So I am posting it in the newbie section. I have a yellow tang that I bought at a chain pet store. He has been very thin since I got him, but he is eating well. He is in the tank with a clarkii and a lawn mower blennie. Their is also coral Banded shrimp. I have noticed chunks out of his tail and fins but I haven't noticed the fish fighting. The edges of the fins are red. Just wondering if this is fin rot and how I can treat it.
