Fin Rot

g'day everyone. just a simple question i was wondering.
my blue betta Triton has fin rot. just wondering if i was to maintain good water quality in the tank
would the fin rot go away on its own or would i have to medicate??
ive never had this problem before and im not all that certain.
hoping for a speedy reply.

I'm sure good water would help, but I think you'll need to medicate, too.

The above advice is right, ensure your water quality is tip-top and medicate with melafix and fin-rot will go, but the water conditions are as crucial as meds.
