Fin Rot!

I have a long 20g with tetras (see sig) and all of them have fin rot, I believe becuase 4 of the long finned tetras have half the fins they used to have. What medicine should I use, could I use maracine 2 since that is what I have or will that not go good with the pleco? Please help.

are the fins red around the edges thats left, same color as the rest of the fin, or white and flaky at the edges?

Never heard of the med, you need a bacerial med for finrot, like i said in a previous post maracyn one.

My guppys tail is bright red around edged but Im now treating it for bacteria/septicenia. Should i have contniued with the fin rot med?

Anti internal bacteria med for bacterial finrot and septicemia, but you could half dose the finrot med as well if you wanted.

But it says on bottle dont use with similar treatments???

Is it ok to put in both together?

what r ur water stats? Fin rot dont happen in a healthy and well maintained tank. Before I have finrot on one of my tank which because of some decor I put in. Later I do water change 3 times a week and add about 1tsb of salt per gallon of water after every water change. And raise my temperature a little. The rotting on the fish stop. And start to grow back. Or u can use malafix which I dont really recommand as the smell isn't really good at all even to us human immagine the fish that have to live in there for weeks that what it said on the instruction manu on malafix.
