Fin Rot

The problem is that my fish just finished moving, the stress, lowered their immune system, and i brought some new guppies that i notice had fin rot, now some of my guppies have it too.

One of my bettas was bought with fin rot in the medium stages. I did 50% daily water changes, adding Wardleys Promethyasul at 1/3 of the recommended dose and salt and it cleared up in about 2 weeks.

Good luck.

If the finrot is bacterial no water quality won't cure it, also finrot in most cases with livebearers can be secondary infections.

The reason is because the guppies are stressed from the move to my new house. So i guess i have to buy meds

And i want to seperate the sicks ones..but..i have 100+ in the tank..how am i gonna seperate them all?

If you have alot of fish with the finrot medicate the whole tank.

I ahve absolutly no time to buy meds, so...i put some quick cure in the tank...i think it works..or..is it not possible? cause the med is different?

For the finrot you need a bacterial med if it's bad.

It looks like some fish are ..healing, i cannot tell the difference between some of them, they drive me nuts looking at them. I dont know if they are healing themselves or the meds are helping them, but the case looks like it's getting better, funny how the cories are all fine
