Ok now i have a pic(not gr8) of the sick platy you can see the dorsal fin has some missing, the tail is harder to see but it has a chunk missing too. Its the 1 at the back, or top as its not rotated soz

Have you noticed any fin nipping.

there has'nt been any fin nipping from what i know. my tank as it is has been peacefull for nearly 6 months from i got rid of my angels, which tortured everything. i added 2ml of myaxzin as stated. the instruction are'nt that clear on the bottle, do i add it every day for 5 days then stop or every other day after the fifth.

Can't remember instuctions to myxazin that long since I used the stuff.
Just follow the instructions.

If this is a case of nipping, it does'nt explain the white skin lik thing hanging off just under the dorsal fin.

Can you describe the white thing hanging off not quite sure what you mean.
Is it skin or a parasite.
Does it look like the fins are falling apart like melting.

They were not melting or falling apart, they looked liked a tiny person took a bite outa them. It getting better now am dosing with myaxzin the tail has nearly grew back fully and the white skin like thingmebob is getting smaller. So hopefully all is well, i just need my new tank to give them room to fully grow.
