Fin Rot Treatment?

Hi, i recently posted a topic about a hole in my bristle nosed catfish, i was told it was just a random hole and not to worry but it has since eroded more of the tail and appears to be spreading fast so i am presuming it is fin rot although i still have a slight idea that it could be from the white spot med which i recently used for two weeks. What it the best treatment for fin rot?

Myxazin by waterlife or anti internal bacteria med by interpet.
Have you checked your water stats.

thanks wilder. Yes they are fine, ever since i set up this tank two months ago theres been problem after problem, water stats are always spot on and yet i still haven't had a week with no disease, i think i just have a dud tank!!!

i know the feeling well had my tank for 4 months and have only had 2 weeks where there hasnt been a problem but was advised not to buy fish from garden centres or pet shops that run on cental systems and i think they are right as made the mistake couple of time before i was told and now i am hoping the styress and the fish in my tank are going to stay healthy i am on day 3 of fin rot treatment tank must be feeling better as i got 10 new baby guppies tonight im so happy

Welcome to fish keeping it can be a nightmare at times.
That's why it's so important to have issolation tanks.
