At least, I think it's Fin Rot.
I already lost 1 guppy to it. That was exactly 1 week ago. I've been watching the rest of my fish closely and didn't notice anything strange. Last night they were all fine but this morning my remaining female guppy showed up with a ripped tail. She just gave birth so I thought she was a little stressed from that.
I just performed a 20% waterchange and my water is still a little tainted from Siper Ick cure because I had been treating white spot. And now this!!!
It's driving me nuts.

Please tel me what to do!! I've put the si fish in a maternity box and added a little stress coat and a little salt.
I don't want this one to die as well!

How much of the tail has gone, any red streaking in the tail, or a red edge, plus can you post water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Well, she's missing about 15% of her tail and so far I see a tiny red streak close to where the tail and the body meet.
Nitrite 0, nitrate 25, ammo: I can't tell 'cause my water is green from prevous medicating but I did a waterchange today, 20%. PH 7.

Pleas hurry!

The ammonia reading would of been good as if it was high that would explain the red streaks.
I would get her onto a bacterial med can you issolate the fish.

On my way to LFS to get medication. Thanks a lot.
And believe m I'm trying to get those ammo test but I'm afraid the ick meds affect the readings. I've been doing small waterchanges everyother day to get rid of the ick cure little by little.

Good luck fingers crossed, as when they have lost a far bit of there tail isn't good news.

Good luck and I hope your fish is ok! It could of even been another fish attacking her, you can't be sure but i'm not expert, so i'd listen to the people with experience...

I got Aquarium Pharmaceuticals T.C. Capsules. I'm really hoping they work.

An attack by other fish is unlikely. Each species of fish keeps to its own. My tetras never mess with guppys nor plattys. And right now I only have one male guppy left. If anything, he may be a little too "enthusiastic" with the female.
My female guppy just gave birth (I chose not to keep the fry) so I guessed the effort might have contributed to raise her level of stress, as well as previous medicating of the tank due to ich.
I really hope she makes it.
