P.H: 7.2
AMMONIA:0.25ppm
NITRITE:0.25ppm
NITRATE:5.0 ppm

just done a second test now and they came out like this....
so its not as if the water quality is bad..
but obvs needs a change cuz they not at zero but cant understand how they got fin rot..
i did buy some other fish the other day.. but i checked them over and they looked fine no sign of and infection or anything on them..

purchase fin rot treatment asap - dilute and measure accordingly to tank size....aldo remover carbon filter media whilst treatment being used

You really need to get those readings down as they are not good and indicate that your tank is not cycled. The elevated ammonia, which may have been even higher at times, is probably the cause of the finrot. Treat with anti-finrot, but more immediately make water changes to get those readings as low as possible, 50% at least to start with.

How long have you had the tank and how did you cycle it?

purchest some earlier on today..
i looked at the fish closely yesterday and they all looked fine.. came to the figher fish this morn and saw he had this..
went to buy some and put the ammount needed for my tank..
was just wondering if there is anything else i can do..
but looking at him now.. looks like hes given up the fight..
he's laid in the bottom of tank.. put him self under a leaf..thats in my tank under a plant :(..
not looking good for him.. hasnt moved for 5-10 mins.. still breathing.. but not moving :(

You need to do a water change. The ammonia is rotting the fins. Water change now

Update On The Fighter..
.. Got Rid Of Fin Rot Changed Water Sevril times..
but fo some reason the fin rot returned and killed the fighter fish..
killed some other fish as well.. but after a few more water changed the fish seem fine..
keeping a close eye on them as a guppy has a tear on the fin so watching that carefully..
