One of my male dwarf gouramis has fin rot and is under treatment in the tank as we have nowhere else to put him. The rest of the fish in the tank are fine. When it gets near to them being fed, the other male dwarf gourami and two other fish (can't remember which species, sorry) appear to be nibbling the fins of the one with fin rot. I'm not sure this is normal or healthy, or how to stop them?? Any help would be great (this is my first time of having tropical fish and I'm not sure I'm doing too well  )

Thanks

You're going to have problems having two male gouramis in the same tank. There's really no option open to you except separating them, I'm afraid.

Fish will often pick on other fish who are sick; it's an evolved behaviour to remove sick fish from the group so as not to attract predators.
