Hey guys I've been having this problem in my tank for about a month now, and it's not getting better. I cannot seem to figure out the problem because its quite strange...I have 3 electric blue jack dempseys, 2 tiger oscars, one regular jack dempseys, 1 pleco, and 2 zebra cichlids. They all get along fine, but the ONE tiger oscar has had these sores on his body, and some fin rot for as I said about a month. I've tried treating it on a couple different occasions with Melafix. And in times past it has been treated just fine, but this one keeps lingering, so then I tried some water changes, and that didn't even help either. So i'm a little stuck right now. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so any help would be greatly appreciated...Thank you very much!

Meg: Hells Aquarium VIEW PLEASE!

Hey guys this link is for a character contest for a book series that I have been reading for sometime now, its a little off topic i'm sorry, but it does deal with a 70 foot 70,000 pound Megalodon, so it is fish related! If anybody who reads this topic can just click on it, and view it 15 times...that'd certainly help. If i'm in the top 50 for the views I get to be a character in the next book, and I'd enjoy nothing more! All you have to do is wait a few seconds for the video to start, then refresh...15 times will take less then a minute. Thanks alot guys! Sorry for this :-/!

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Any whiteness to the sores. Like a circling of dead white skin around the edges.
Does the sore look like its ulcerating into a hole.
Any excess mucas on gills or body of the fish.
Anys sign of flicking and rubbing.

Melafix is only good on external bacteria infections. You might need an internal bacteria med.
