Fin Loss

Well I have had a white-skirt tetra in my hospital tank for about 3 weeks now. I treated my other fish with it with Maracyn and it worked great, but it didn't help this fish. I have been using pond melafix but nothing is helping it, I jsut finished treating with Maracyn 2 but still all his fins are shredded and ripped up and is not getting any better. Help!

are the edges of the fins white or just torn up?

If the fish is in issolation need to move on to tetracycline, but don't use in the main tank as it will wipe the bacteria colony out in your filter.
