Hello everyone,

It's been a while. I'm sorry I do not have time this morning to test my water and fill out the proper emergency form!

I have concern about a female guppy in my 10 gallon tank. Tank mates are 3 additional females, 1 male and a bunch of fry. Current temp is 76 degrees Fahrenheit.

While feeding just now I notice one of my females on the bottom only treading water with one fin. When I put in the food she started swimming catching as many bloodworms as she could :) So upon closer inspection I noticed the base of her right fin is very pink and swollen, spreading up underneath her gill. The base that fin appears torn away from the body slightly. There is no movement and it appears stiff if it grazes something. It also seems there could be hemorrhaging in her abdomen as her gravid spot is pink rather than the normal gray/black. There is a very new batch of fry so I suspect they are hers because of that.

Someone please advise on how much I can do here to help her injury, or treat the disease if that's what it could be!

Thank you!

Sounds like bacterial finrot with the pink areas.
I would issolte her and start treating with a bacterial med.
She might not might it i'm afraid with having h septicemia on top.
Any fish been nipping her fins and caused an infection.

Can you post water stats please.
