Ok well about two weeks ago all the fish in my 9G got whitespot, I caught it early and managed to save them all, and have completed their treatment now. I was initially going to buy some body fixing stuff like melafix, I decided against it since there was no damage done really, just a few tiny scars which have now cleared up.

Earlier, I noticed a couple of my Black Neon Tetra's dorsal fins have been split in half while they swim. I also noticed that all the the fins on all of the black neons have a blue tint. None of the Black Phantom tetras in the tank are showing any signs of this and I was wondering what has happened and what I should do about it.

Oh yes and I almost forgot to mention something in my other tank of 60L, yes Angelfish should be kept in 30g but I am getting a 24" tall 30g for Christmas and my current two are very small. So the problem is, occasionally on my smaller angelfish's tentacle things sometimes has little white threads that look like wool on them, just on the feelers, this has been happening for a few days now and sometimes then I look her feelers have been clean, does anyone know what this is?

Thanks.

Split fins heal on there own in good water quality.
Never heard fins being a blue tint in colour has the whitespot med stained them.
I would use melafix and pimafix if there no white edging to the tail or red streaks in there fins.

Nah the med was green.

I think it might just be the bulb colour because it is purple and make the water seem quite blue.

Actually from quite far away (I just went to look) their fins look normal and the blue tint is only very slight and dose resemble the bulb.

Any ideas on the angelfish? He/She is a very very nice one and I'd hate to loose him/her.

Have they feelers also gone shorter.
Myxazin and pimafix.
