Filttration Question For A 110 Gal. Tank(us Gallons)

just wanted to ask that is a canister filter,wet/dry trickle filter,and a huge power filter(and the powerfilter is really big) enough for my 110 gal discus aquarium?
and please suggest on a very good canister filter which would be under 175 dollars.
