Hey guys i have kept fish for a while now. But i always have the same questions. Am i giving them the right food. Am i giving them enough filtration? Are they getting enough oxygen? I have a 46 gallon tank and in it i have 6 silver mollies and 4 black mollies for a total of 10 fish!! I have white sand and i have a emperor bio=wheel 400 and an emperor bio-wheel 330. Is this enough. I have been wanting to buy other filters but dont know which one there is so many. If anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it. If i am giving them enough filtration thats good and if not can someone tell me which filter i should buy the best money can buy. Also what kind of variety foods can i give them?? Thax so much guys for any help!!! I want the best for my fish!!

What are the GPH (gallons per hour) on those? Typically you want between 3-5 times the aquarium size of water changed in an hour so for a 46 you'd want 138-230 GPH depending on the bioload. With 10 Mollies, you're probably in the lower spectrum there.

Feed a variety of foods. Flakes, pellets, frozen foods (worms, larvae), dried veggies (seaweed is often a good choice) and fresh things like veggies. I feed most of my fish every other day to every three days depending on what/how much of the food they got before.

Some fish vary though and you'll want to feed more or less food. I think once a day would be sufficient for Mollies though.

Thax for your reply. The Emperor 400 filter filters 400 gph and i think the 330 does about 250 gph!! I will try and feed them some of these food thax!!
